Cookies are information in the form of text that a website transfers to a user’s computer/Smartphone/Tablet to enable the website to remember certain information and therefore facilitate the use of the website. Cookies are considered, in accordance with Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services (LSSI), any type of file or device that is downloaded to a user’s terminal equipment for the purpose of storing data that can be updated and recovered by the entity responsible for its installation.
Depending on their duration, cookies can be:
Session cookies: These are a type of cookie designed to collect and store data while the user accesses a website. These cookies are not stored on the user’s computer when the session expires or the user closes the browser.
Persistent: These are a type of cookie in which the data is still stored in the user’s computer and can be accessed and processed when the user leaves the website and when he/she reconnects to it. These cookies can be deleted at any time by the user.
